I miss my Boxy OCC! Salepics003

https://gmlongroof.4umer.com/t1796-custom-cruiser-before-and-after?highlight=custom+cruiser+before++%2Bafter - It was a really low-mile car...with really BAD sunburned wood. I should have kept it!

Nothing wrong with a boxy!

I've started to look for a set of these wheels, no real hurry, if the right set comes along I'll get em.
There is a set on CL in Nashville, but that's to far to go without really knowing the condition they're in. Pictures can be deceiving.

The wheels on my car were not pretty when I bought them, but I used Aircraft Remover to take off the clear-coat and then used Mother's Chrome and Mag polish followed by wax on the gloss parts. I left the finned areas and area around the lug nuts rough bare metal. The looked great! Oh and the center caps were from a 1980-82 Corvette, with Olds rocket decals over the crossed flags.

Rich, the guy I sold the car too, painted the bare areas black.

They sell them for $20 each at Pick-N-Pull in San Antonio. If I have the cash will nab a set the next time I see them.

Hey Pat man we're just glad you didn't pass on too. That car did it's job.

Glad you're still with us Bud!
