I,m too old to be playing with this antiquated half sophisticated junk Nick Had the same thought myself on many occasions. "What is wrong with me playing with these break down prone junkers" I don't know. One of them would be ok, but I have three. What's worse than having the junkers, is the junk that you accumulate for the junkers. Yes, I know the stuff is rare and valuable (ha ha), like a bumper cover or a hood emblem. My family and friends, kind of scratch their head when they see the cars etc. Maybe they're right. We get a lot of snow and cold weather, I have a two car garage to keep the good cars out of the elements. Well, you want to talk about being stupid, I take the cake. The junkers are in the garage and the good cars are outside. Many guys on the site have the same affliction, but no one has come to deal with it yet. It's almost like we have a defective gene. One of these days, there's going to be one of us on the Hoarder show. Oh well, heading back out under the car. Tom

| Nothing wrong with "playing with the junkers". It's better time and money spent then things like casinos, horse tracks, bars, etc. and there's plenty of folks that deem those worthwhile activities on a regular basis. | |

| Sorry to hear that you guys have tired of the Roadys. I know others that were big into a particular model and then it passed their fancy. I am on my second wagon and gathering lots of parts like many do and even though there are challenges with maintaining an older car, I'd much rather pour money into such an iconic powerful beast than the new dinky cars. The days are now gone of bench and split bench seats that create all that front seat roominess. Now we are asked to shove into a cockpit. Just took a long roadtrip in an SUV, and my right knee was killing me as it rests on the center console while driving and there was just no room to move.
Hope you guys hold on to your classics but if not, there are many more up and coming that are grasping at the oppurtunity of owning, maintaining and driving the last of the full-size great Station Wagons.

| Collecting parts is more fun than anything. And as prone as these cars are to falling apart ( Bad Build Quality ) you need them sometimes. I may have a 96 Roadmaster Wagon LTD for sale soon. PM for details | |
