Do you NEED to remove the wiper motor for clearance to remove the engine in my '92? Can't get the wiper arm off to access the under cowl portion.
Thanks! Very Happy

I had to do so when I pulled the 350 from Shammoo.

You should not have to remove the wiper motor to remove the engine.

If you insist on removing the wiper arm, (I assume you have the nut off) you lift the arm slightly, and insert a drill or nail in the hole on the side of the arm to lock it in the arm In the up position. Then you can wiggle the wiper arm and remove it from the tapered shaft.

Canadian Tire has the tool to remove wiper arms. It's cheap.

Early news reports said it all started with a simple car repair that got progressively out of hand.
