| The previous owner told me that his stereo was stolen at some point. And it looks like the radio and climate control panels are aligned properly. You can see the blue cool button is behind the bezel. Is it easy to adjust the climate control panel and radio? Should I just find a 1995-6 dash and grab the bezel to get a double din opening? The passenger front dash panel is also pretty scuffed up, so if I find a better one I would love to replace it. The driver side doesn't seem to be attached in the lower corner (see photo) which might be part of the damage. Thanks again! Ian | |

| I am an expert at destroying plastic pieces by removing then incorrectly. So until I find instructions on how to remove the dash pieces I'm leaving well enough alone!
Are there instructions on here somewhere?

| You can pull the dash from a 96 Roady sedan which are more plentiful then wagons in the yards. Check the top of your dash pad for cracks while you are at it. | |

| Make sure you get a dash from a 94, 95-96 had a larger opening around the radio. | |

| The facia comes off very easily. There are a couple of screws holding it just above the cluster opening. Remove the kick panels from under the wheel and the little one beside the passenger door If I remember correctly they just pull off. then the whole facia just pulls off. The foam on the back of the vents is nasty stuff and stains everything it touches. I replaced mine with a better foam. If you are getting rid of that radio LMK. Not sure of how to convert to Double Din so I cannot help you much there. | |

| You can not adjust the radio or the climate control to any extent. If you are going to get a double DIN radio, get the 95-96 dash front. It is relatively difficult to break the dash front if you remove the screws. It is one piece from side to side, remove the knee bolster panel, and open the glove box. There may be a screw behind the fuse panel door on the driver's side, as well as the ones above the cluster. The rest is just clips. Put the trans in low gear and the steering wheel in the tilt down position. If you can remove the tilt wheel lever, it gives you a little more room to work, and the wheel will not pop up on you when you bump the lever. | |

| Thanks all, I saw the clips on what was left of the dash at the yard and I think I can get it off without breaking now. Just need to find better pieces now. | |

you are starting to irk me,.. You didn't post the video earlier, you posted a snarky link which actually did lead me to some useful info. Thank you for posting it now. I'm old school and prefer a nice writeup which I can skim quickly then print out, but I will watch it. Thanks. But yeah I'm new to these wagons and was in a hurry as I had to leave to get to the yard. We've all been newbies before, no need to be an ass about it. I do appreciate the help, I could do without the 'tude.

| Now that I look at your photo again, it appears that the clip(s) to the left of the Radio may not be fully engaged into the dash which is causing that bulge out. I would loosen the screws above the instrument cluster then push the dash firmly in place. | |

| Thanks Lance, I'll give that a try. That piece is in good shape so hopefully all the clips are intact. The passenger side has a bunch of scuffs, that's the side I'd like to replace someday. | |
