| The connector on mine snapped off. It doesn't look like you can get this separately anywhere, so if someone has one or can point me to one, I'd appreciate it. | |

| Are you referring to the steering column position sensor on the end of the columnĀ in the engine bay? | |

| There are 2 Fleetwoods in the local yard, they should both have one. | |

| Thanks Fred, I totally spaced on the Fleetwood as a good source for that part. None of the local yards have any near me, so if you do happen to find one near you, that would be great. I'm also investigating getting Cardone to send me one, I just got a pump which was supposed to have it installed and it wasn't.
The thing is held on with a dammit clip... sorry, an external ring clip... and a threaded shaft with a splined head. I'm not sure what tool is supposed to be used to undo it. | |

| Hold the Bus,..
why are you changing the power steeing pump??
If the steering is suddenly losing pressure and hard steering for a few seconds,. its a common LT1 problem, The water pump starts dripping from the weep hole on the bottom side of the pump,. it coats the belt with coolant,. belt slips, it dries off due to friction,. belt grabs again,..steering comes back,.

| Nick, it was the only way I could find to get the solenoid, except that it didn't come with it like it was supposed to. Regardless, thanks for that tip, that's good to know! | |
