| The town thats closest to where we are is Orangeville Ont,. Ironic uh? Thanks to Big Mike,(Dbeast) and chris (brokecello) for all the effort to host wagonfest mid atlantic 2014. Thanks to Tom for finally changing the steering wheel color on the wagon,. it is a perfect match,,,, He brought all the supplies for the color change with him,. and we let it dry on the roof in the nice virginia sunshine,.. which was a absolutely perfect. Was a great day,. finished up with a very nice cruise thru some twisties, with 20+ wagons,. Good to see wagon people again,.. Nick,Diane April and Jake. | |

| Myself and little John had a blast. Our hats are off to Mike (Dbeast) and Chris (Brokecello)...thank you so much for everything you must have done behind the scenes to ensure that we could all relax and enjoy Wagonfest mid Atlantic 2014. Awesome venue, fantastic people, wonderful B bodies and amazing weather. It was very nice to see familiar faces/cars and to meet some new Wagon people. (I hope you all take the time to introduce yourselves). Too bad some of the other Wagon crazies could not make it. (TX Mike, 200OZ and Jarrod you were missed). Glad folks showed up, even if you had to arrive in your back up ride. (No offence Dave but I'm still scratching my head as to how a HHR beat a minty 94 SS as the best back up ride?)...although the HHR was a nice car in its own right...shouldn't the Impala have gotten the nod as at least its a B body??? Just saying Can't wait till we do it again. PS: Mike, thanks for arranging the sunshine and warm weather...driving back up North watching the temps drop on the climate control really drove home just how wonderful the weather in VA was. Hope everyone had a safe commute and that all the cars made it home without issue. And please keep the pictures coming.

| I didn't get a lot of pictures either. Was busy chatting with folks and doing wagon stuff. But for those who may be interested, here are this years award winners! Peoples Choice - John - mtrhead79 Best Daily Driver - Jess - oilsslick Best Themed/Modified - Chris - brokecello Best Backup Ride - Dave - lakeffect - HHR SS Long Hauler - John - big wagon guy - 830+ miles one way! Nick was a VERY close second. Thanks to everyone for coming out and making the planning worth it! We were blessed with great, even amazing weather for the end of October and a wonderful turnout.

Just saying! It won for three reasons. 1) Technically, it'a long roof, just a shorter long roof. 2) People were tired of hearing about me bitch about not winning anything with Shammoo, so they figured this would shut me up for awhile. 3) Threatening to stuff wads of wool soaked in limburger cheese up their tailpipes, without lube, probably clinched the deal.
