| Out of the 3 late model B wagons, Chevy got the best in my opinion. For such a large oval wagon, they had a nice large curved emblem that seemed to compliment the body style. I have never been a fan of the basic lollipop style ornaments. I have seen so many in the yards but the one that caught my eye the most that would look good on mine is the oval Riveria style. Only better are the earlier ones that had the cross hair line running through it. It has the Riveria "R" in the center and to most everyone that would see it would assume it is for Roadmaster (all except car buffs!). So, after some filing on the inside of the existing Roady wagon base.... It looks so much more appropriate to the body style and the black center goes with all the other black accents on the wagon so I think it ties in nicely It sits much better, doesn't slop around in the base like the factory lollipop style The 96 Collectors emblem wasn't as impressive as the basic tri-shield. It actually looks like GM reused the 80's collectors badge for it. This may be why the bases of the lollipop emblems are undersized to the hood bases and they do not stay straight in their bases. | |

| So you used the top of a Riv emblem and a Roady wagon base? Does the spring still work? Very cool mod, I think. If you want to get really crazy, priint up, in your car color, a back ground, and then Roadmaster in black letters. Is that Riv emblem from the 79-85 era? | |

| Yes, Rivera ornament with the existing Roady base. Springs are the same. It is the early 80's version with the cross-hair going right through.

| I myself would rather delete the hood ornament. | |
