Thanks | |

They are all exactly the same. Same weight, length, diameter, everything is the same.

| Actually, they are not. There is a different PN for the Impala shaft. However, they do fit the same. | |

| Sometimes the pursuit of upgrades and mods take an illogical path. Use of the word "illogical"is this forum members tribute to Leonard Nimoys recent passing. True statement none the less. | |

| As stated above...they are all the same and therefore interchangeable. If you install one from a DGGM SS the car will be faster | |

| It's the length that's important. If you look in the GM catalog there are three different ones. I have a 9c1 with a drive shaft that I want to replace. I guess I'll have to measure it up. It's the only way to be sure! Thanks | |

| They are the same length. There are different part numbers for 9C1, civilian, and SS. | |

| Going from twenty year old memories... just balancing for the different rated top speeds (even though 9C1 had two top speeds depending on tire). Honestly, they are the same. Adequate for a stock car driven at even double the speed limit. With gears, T56 swaps, trips to Bonneville, etc, you may want a better shaft. However... a stock shaft will work fine. I have one in my 4.10/T56 SS. It turns over 4k RPM shaft speed in 6th on the highway, and I'm still here to talk about it. I'll grab a nice 4" AL shaft from a truck and have it cut down some day. | |

| My bay at work is next to the Driveline Shop, I really need to find out how much I could get a shaft built for.
Somebody have the dimensions handy?
