After stock piling parts for almost a year, the day has finally come to start on my 91 OCC. Woot, woot! PST front end kit, with poly bushings all around. Four fresh,KYB shocks on the corners. Belltech swaybars fore and aft,Metco trailing arms to keep them all in place. A used set of SS wheels with fresh 255/55/17's This guy is smiling like a opossum...lol. Sorry Roo,no lowering springs. This old man likes the current saggy set. Pictures soon.... P.S. Fresh tune up as well....

I wanna jump on that LS band wagon. Really looks like the best bang for your buck.

I'm going to do the same at some point, have a 4.8 sitting in the garage that I may build into an LS6, and back it up with a TKO 5 speed.

In addition to those mods I also had it tuned up...too freshen it up from sitting most of last year. That being said, this is the saddest, slowest V8 I have ever owned. After driving it the last couple of days I considered throwing things out the window to increase speed. Wow,its sad...kicking it down is just a sound effect. Feel free to snicker Nick. Rolling Eyes

The 305 and 350 are very different animals, I'm not sure what gears you have (I'm not all sure what gears I have). Stop light hole shots are pretty fun, still far from the fastest car I've been in, but very fun.

i put 3:73's under the orange car yesterday;' it gets out of the hole a bit better than the 2:56's
Kinda fun to pull donuts with the posi,..
I slipped in a 95 camaro ecm just for fun, it shifts at a bit higher rpm and a little firmer,.
Needs a better tune in the ecm next,. maybe a cold air intake,.?

I prefer to chortle rather than snicker. if thats ok>?

Chortle away....My OCC currently has 273's so 373 are the next mod. It was really depressing after waiting so long for cruising season to get here....but thats life.

Sure Nick, they go really fast... as long as it's downhill.

Mine will snap my neck if unless I'm very gentle with the skinny pedal. I did the math a while ago and it points to 3.73s or a mismatched VSS.

I would suggest you look at the SPID. It should have your gear ratio on it. It is probably a 3.23. The 3.23 ratio usually reads about 6 MPH above your actual speed with the original 18 to 42 ratio in the VSS.

Stew, with that fragile of a neck I would seek out a good chiropractor.
