I want to put American racing outlaw 1s on my 94 caprice wagon. Every where I call tells me 15x8, but they want me to bring in so they can measure for bolt spacing etc. I would like to order them and are having a heck of a time. Would also like widest tire I can put on with no rubbing. I prefer mikey Thompson or bf goodrich. Thanks for your time. Sean

I used the 15x8 with a 4" back spacing and mine had 235/70R15 on it. I do also know that the 18x9.5 will work as well with a 5.5 BS Not that your using the 18" rim,

You can run pretty much anything. I've seen people run 275/60s on 8" wide wheels with no rubbing. Your mileage may vary - your car is 20 years old and has probably settled on the frame mounts (assuming they were perfectly straight in the first place...).

You can always fold the lip under if you need more clearance though.
