Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser Door Chime

I checked out a '91 Olds that was for sale over a year ago. A guy down the street from me bought it, And I noticed how different sounding the door chime was, I have a fascination with that on cars ( I know, its really weird) but anyway. I'm curious why GM had such a different sounding one for the OCC.

Would an OCC door chime fit into my 93 Roadmaster? And does anybody have a spare, and how do i get to it in the car.Is it the green little box under the dash?
And I also looked up some of the different ones used on the BBodies, its interesting.

Tell me, what does it sound like. I have a 91 OCC and none of the chimes work

I think the chime depends on whether it had that reminder package or not though.

Can you go over and use your phone a make a short vid of it so we can hear what you are speaking of?

Ok I will, I'm out of town for now but I will when I get back around Saturday. If I have time, I could just post a link to a video that already has it. For those of you who wondered what it sounds like now though. It is a two note chord, F and A, while the other BBodies are a single note Bflat sound. Both have a fake xylophonish sound. Sorry, I'm a bank geek kinda. It just sounds a lot nicer.

Didn't notice it was different, but then again my 9C1 does not have a door chime.

You are not ringing any bells over here. I've had 4 OCCs out of 13 wagons and don't recall the chimes being different.

Interesting, that's strange though. I saw a few videos on YouTube, I noticed moldy macs '92 lsx cruiser had a different chime than my '93 Roady. It's the last video he made on it I think. I can post a link and put the time on two different bbody videos so I can show you the difference I noticed. If ya guys want me to. In sorry for a dumb post but I want it to chime a certain way.

Update, I'll make the video Tomorow, I found a few Roadmaster and OCC chimes. The modules look different. I found a '93 rm chime that was black, but mines green like the '94-96 BBodies have. And the OCC one was black like the '93 rm one, but it looked different. Tomorow I might pull it out and look at it I also did some research and found out the '9C1s have a seatbelt chime that's brown, but not a door chime. Have you guys ever pulled out a chime module?
