Door mirror retro fit? Empty
PostSubject: Door mirror retro fit?   Door mirror retro fit? Icon_minitimeSun Aug 02, 2015 10:20 am

Comparing the outside mirrors of my '94 Caprice to my '96 Roadmaster , like many others have commented, the pre '95 units glass is approx. 1/2 the size (at best) and since I've been used to the larger style, going to be tough to accept the smaller ones. Aside from an entire door swap, anyone install the larger mirrors on the '91-'94 doors?
Closing the mounting holes isn't a major issue for me as I intend to remove all the wood looking vinyl anyway. I was just wondering about the actual mounting area on the door.

holes are already there from what i remember doing my black 94,..just pull the trim rmove some plugs and bolt mirror on,.

the 3 hrs per side welding and grinding and block sanding to get the doors straight was aggravation,.
its easier to swap doors and do a color change,.
