Blower not working, not control module! Empty
PostSubject: Blower not working, not control module!   Blower not working, not control module! Icon_minitimeSun Oct 11, 2015 12:02 pm

1996 Buick Estate wagon, blower quit and figured it was the blower control module like the last time about a year and a half ago. Plugged in the new module and still no fan. While moving the module around(hadn't installed it yet) the blower comes on. Was able to wiggle the harness and get it to come on twice, then no dice!

Anyone have a similar problem and know what it is? Is it a bad wire or connection?

Thanks!

Don

Blower motor fine. I used my meter to see if power was at the blower motor plug. No voltage at plug, wiggle wires going into side of car and blower motor was operating.

When the wife drove it the other day, she said the gas gauge did not work.

Grounding problem? Does the gas gauge wiring go through the passenger side? Totally unrelated?
