Hey gang,
I haven't been on here much recently as I haven't been playing or driving the Roadmaster much. So it's time to let it go to focus on other projects.
Lots of details below, you guys know the issues so I've detailed out what I've done. I have all my receipts, and the receipts from the PO.
We purchased this wagon two years ago to use for road trips and as a tow vehicle for our vintage trailer. It is a rust-free car that has been in the Pacific Northwest it's entire life. I am the third owner.
I went through it and made sure all the regular maintenance and wear items were replaced to make it reliable. Last summer we drove it to Salt Lake City and back as well as towing our vintage trailer on a 1200 mile trip to Banff and Glacier in August. It got a measured 21 MPG doing 80 mph (in Utah and Idaho).
The wagon is all set for towing your trailer, a couple motorcycles, or whatever toys you might have. Or use it to mount a bike rack on the back.
Overall the wagon is in excellent mechanical condition, and good physical condition. No major accidents, but a few small dings visible in the photos. The paint is in good condition but has a few typical chips and scratches on the hood. The leather interior is in great shape, the leather is soft and there is only one small hole on the driver seat bottom in the common area. The carpet is in good condition and includes 4 carpet floor mats. The A/C blows cold, the heat blows hot, all the windows, locks, wipers, lights etc. work. It starts and runs great, no funny noises, shakes or shimmies. West coast car with no rust.
The wagon is available for a pre-purchase inspection before the sale (at your expense).
Here are the highlights of maintenance and upgrades I have done since we bought it:

WHAT'S WRONG WITH IT?
The vinyl is peeling off the wood trim as usual. I've peeled it off most of it, but it still looks like hell.
Rubber trim is not attached
A few small tears in the interior and headliner, I'm happy to provide more details
One small drip from the front of engine when running, I believe from an oil or trans cooler hose
Slight vibration at idle that comes and goes.
Scratches on hood, no idea what from
Some wiper burns on windshield (it rains a lot here...)
MISC DETAILS
Also included are the original aluminum wheels with usable 225/70R15 whitewall tires.
I have the rubber trim strips that go on the chrome molding, I finally found a trunk piece so I will likely start installing them.
I also have other spare parts I am happy to include at the right price. Contact me for more details.
I have a spreadsheet with all maintenance I have tracked available upon request as well, as well as many more photos that wouldn't fit.
The wagon will not come with Oregon plates as we are keeping them for our next car. I will throw in the Washington RDMSTER plates.
Asking $4995 or best reasonable offer. Don't need to sell it, really just don't use it enough. Will sell for less without new wheels/tires.
