| I went to a bone yard about an hr from me where they had a '91 caprice with surprisingly clean quarters for the age. The shop refused to cut the quarters only for me because "they can get more for the whole clip". I disagreed because from the front of the wheel well forward it was rusted/ dented and smashed in. The bumper was missing and the paint was faded. I asked why I should pay for metal i'm not going to use/ even be able to use when it would be much easier/ quicker to cut the quarters.
After going back and forth about this for about 10 mins, he said he would cut the rear clip from the start of the wheel well to the bumper and sell it to me for $350. I really need the quarters but I don't want to spend $350 on quarters and junk the rest (he isnt even including the tailgate). I ultimately left telling him that if he did what I wanted i'd have paid about $150-200 for both quarters but now he lost out on a chance of making any money off of me (I also put back some interior parts). What would you do?

Very helpful... Minus the right quarter, the car is fine. Frame is solid, But living in New England, rusty quarters are a fact of life.

| I have purchased entire wagons for $500. Seriously. Some of them have had great quarters, some not. Point being, that's too much for just the quarters. Though perhaps in northern areas where they're harder to find not so bad. I wouldn't have paid it either. Just my two cents of course. | |

Lol. So have I. My first wagon was a '92 RM. It was then I learned what kills these, when one morning I noticed a chunk of the frame had fallen off
