Parking lots... IMG_3176

Not sure when and not sure how, but one of my neighbors in some unknown parking lot got a little too close. Here's the crazy thing, had the person fessed up, as the wood grain appliqué is bubbling in front of the wheel, I'd have told them not to worry about it because was planning on replacing the fender anyway. But the thing doesn't even have license plates and now I'm afraid to take it anywhere.

Angry beaver claws woodgrain after realizing it's not real wood.

Really though, that looks pretty shopping cart-ish. I'd have been upset at that.
Be careful driving with no plates. It's expensive to get a car out of impound.

You can hide this with some paint. Scratch any rough edges of the sticker, and with a small modeling-type brush and some tan, brown, and nutmeg paint (satin is better than gloss) found Hobby Lobby or Wal-Mart, you can blend it to where from about 5ft away, you won't even see these scratches.

turnofftheradio, haha, maybe so.

TheRoadmasterKing, you're correct I've got temp tags.

81X11, thanks, I'll give it a shot.

But I like the woodgrain Smile.

Besides, I'm all for adding more, but not destroying what I've got. Smile

Years ago someone gave my brother a chalk drawing. It was of a used car lot, titled to him, with the slogan, "We buy; never sell."
