turns out it was a bad negative battery connection Embarassed

coughs and shakes  after it warms up a little bit
worse going up hills
idles rough at lights
smooths out some at around 2500 rpm +
runs better on highway if I keep it out of overdrive(?) (higher rpms) does this eliminate fuel pump?
replaced fuel filter a year ago
pulled one plug and it looked like new
not the air filter
no codes flash so I am looking for possible things to not check/replace
is there a good diagram on where to look for vacuum leaks?
thanks
