Hello from Michigan! I'm a new B-body owner, so I thought I'd post some pics of my purchase. I bought a 1991 Roadmaster wagon with just over 50k original miles for $3950 at an estate auction. It's a one-owner car that was garaged it's whole life. The kids are SO excited to ride in the third seat! Though it's only a 305, it has the tow package with 3.23 gears in the rear.

So excited to be part of the B-body community!!  Hopefully the photos show up...

OK, I think it's safe to say that you stole the car for that price.

Welcome to the pod, congratulations on a great find, and start planning your trip east to the next Wagonfest.

Late July, Geneva NY. There is also one in southern NH in October, often coincident with peak foliage season. See the Wagonfest/Events sections of the forum.

Ok your car is gorgeous but your engine picture is hurting me. I want to reach through the screen and clean it up for you!

I refurbished a 1992 Roadmaster just this fall. 80K mile car, but had never been cleaned under the hood.

Before:

I used Purple Power, which I like better than Gunk/Engine Degreaser on less-oily/just dirty motors. Here is the After:

Happy Cleaning!

Lol, yes, I'll admit, I haven't had a chance to clean up the engine bay yet. Wow, your engine bay looks remarkably better after Purple Power. Thanks for the tip & inspiration! Smile

If you look closely over the passenger-side valvecover, there's a vacuum operated heater core bypass valve, which keeps hot coolant out of the cabin on when the HVAC is set to blow cold air.  It's a '91-only item.  I was going to rig one onto my 95 9C1 to help the AC in the summer but never got around to it.

Wow, that's a brilliant idea to make the AC run more efficiently. I would have never known, so thanks for pointing that out!

It's been a long time since I've seen a wagon with the vinyl woodgrain in such good condition. It looks new.

There's a few little imperfections, but overall, it's really nice!
