A friend from NC came down to my place this past Sat so we could remove his upper trim for refinishing.  His is bone stock (except for wheels obviously) with 95K miles.  Mine looked just like his once...lol Best part was not breaking any clips on the spears when removing them! Took about 2.5hrs to remove the trim because I am SLOW and don't want to break clips.

Made me confident that I would not go back to the stock wood color/pattern, but I would do a less orange wood in the future for sure.  

Anyhow, thought it was cool to see these two wagons next to each other!

A tip,.. using very hot water poured over the clips helps them to come off in one piece,.
Its a lot warmer where u are than here it works for me

My son and I just went through that same thing. We had all the trim stripped and repainted. look much better than the peeling fake wood grain.
