I am looking to find two devices that failed on my wagon:

1- Metal Solenoid that has a stuck plunger , I freed it up but still does not throw, I assume the copper coil has opened.
2- Plastic module that has the cam lever on it, it had a broken tang on it.

I assume both devices allows the window to open

I assume one device is driven by the key in the lock button.
I assume one device is driven by the switch on the dashboard.

I could not tell too much how they worked.

Any leads are helpful. ebay - rock auto- original GM part numbers ??
I assume both devices exist for other GM car or truck lines but not sure.
Why wouldn't the Fleetwood use some of these items ?

The parts are unique to the wagons. There are no aftermarket or new ones.

The solenoid operates the glass latch. It can be operated by the button on the dash, or pushing the button on the tailgate. Turning the key will mechanically open the gate glass, and lock/unlock the gate.

The plastic switch is actuated by the button in the center of the tailgate, and in turn operates the solenoid to pop the glass. It only works when the gate is unlocked.

Fleetwoods are sedans, so the car does not need either part.
