This is the global west kit for your car: https://www.globalwest.net/impala-1958-1959-1960-1961-1962-1963-1964-steering-box-tie-rods-linkage-bump-steer-columns-global-we.html

I had to directly access the piratejack site. The ramifications of using a kit from anyone is that you will be locked into their parts for replacement.

Here is the brake kit Global West recommends for your car: https://www.globalwest.net/1959-1960-1961-1962-1963-1964-impala-front-13-inch-disc-brakes-stock-spindles.html
It states in the URL that it is for 59 and up, but the site has it listed under 58 and up. If you have questions, you can contact them, and ask questions.

I also found some places use the same kit for 55-57s for the 58s. I am not an expert on swapping parts on that age of car. You may be able to swap another spindle from a newer car into your 58. I do not know what fits, or can be made to fit. You might consider a forum dedicated to the early Chevies to find out what they have done.

Wilwood should also have a package to replace the brakes on your car as well. https://www.wilwood.com/Index

When you are making a custom car, you need to be able to make parts fit that were never meant to fit in that space. I put a 454 in my 91 OCC, and had to make some adjustments.

Depending on what goes where, you may need a different oil pan for the engine, add a path for dual exhausts, put a larger radiator, and electric fans in place, and make a place for a computer for starts. If you are the first one to do the mod, you will be figuring out how to do it. If someone else has done it, they can give you a heads-up as to what will be the stumbling blocks. 1958 was a one year body style, but I do not know any of the particulars for installing all of the components in your car. Most of your assembly will be trial and error. One of the first things you will encounter is engine mounts. There are aftermarket mount adapters, and fortunately the mounts for Chevy small blocks was the same up until the LS series was developed. Beyond that, you will fabricating at least something for your install. Good luck with the install.
