| It's been a long while since I posted anything , and even then it was on the other forum. Glad to see some of the same names still around. Firewood, you still playing bass? Anyway, I have a 91 caprice wagon that I bought with high hopes, and little knowledge ( hence the tbi 305 ). I bought it in 2005, clean, rustfree southern car. Dark Blue with Blue cloth and no wood. I am sure someone knows the true paint name, I do not. I bought the wagon after my second chld was born. The 95 Cobra R replica I was driving didn't have room for 2 car seats. Also, I am in a band and I need the room for equipment. I had gotten tired of removing the passanger seat to load in PA equipment. I had the windows tinted right away and removed the wire wheel covers, took them apart and painted the spokes black, put them back together and on the car. Income tax return time allowed me to purchase some nice ( at the time ) Black 20 inch wheels with a machined lip. Man did she look good! I posted pics and even made a cool signature. I got to enjoy the wheels and tire for a whole month. The wagon was stolen while we played a gig in downtown Memphis. It was recovered a few days later missing the wheels, front cap, battery, stereo, baby's car seat, and windshield wiper squirters. I didn't notice that last Item untill I went to clean the windsheild off a month later. they had punched a small hole below the drivers side lock to open it, and busted the column. I had the column rebuilt, and got a nice gold front cap from the JY. I dorve it for another year like that. Then I had a blow out on the driver rear that ripped out the fuel filler tube. After that I parked it and drove an Altima I bought from my brother. I fixed the fuel filler, got a new Impala grill, and put trim rings and mid 80's truck center caps on the steel wheels. Flat blacked the gold parts and thats how she is today. I got rid of the Altima and drove the wagon again for a few months, until it started blue smoking at starts and take offs. I am pretty sure it just needs valve seals replaced. I got a deal on a 97 Grand Cherokee so thats my daily driver now. I still have dreams of finishing the wagon, maybe an engine swap. My wife hates the car ( who's doesn't? ) but now that we have child # 4, its about the only thing we can all go somewhere together in. OK, that was way long, but understand, I am a Highschool ISS ( in school suspention ) so I sit here and make sure no one falls asleep and is doing there work. I have alot of time on my hands and the typing helps. Last night as I was going through threads here and on the other forum, my wife told the baby " daddys looking at wagon porn " I thought that was pretty funny. So , I guess I am done torturing everyone . thanks for listening.

| Yikes, hate to hear about yours getting stolen. Lots of idiots out there. I try to run to Memphis when I can, love eating and Rendezvous downtown....will park in a garage for sure next time though!
Looking forward to seeing you pics.
I sure know right where you are. My entire family is from "across the river" in Jonesboro. Been through your part of the world before.
Hope you get your car back in shape soon!

Roadmonster is still around and still has his LT1 Roady. He's on the other forum, I don't think he's joined up over here.

| Well, here is the only one I can dig up right now. It's very old and the rims are photo-chopped in. I had pics on the other forum but they were lost in the crash. Here is the last pic I took, during a record breaking 14 inches of snow in march, in Tennessee. I know thats not much for everyone on the east coast or our neighbors to the north. Funny thing is, this storm hit all at once and as I was driving home I passed a jeep grand cherokee that was stuck. I stopped next to him in the wagon, asked him if he was ok, then proceeded on up the hill with no problem! ha ha ha | |

| Welcome aboard. sounds like you dropped out before I dropped in (Summer 2007). I'm the south florida wagon whore (have 5) and use the phrase wagon porn all the time.... Three of mine have bad clear coat issues and I may Crovo one pretty soon just to amuse myself. | |

| Sprocket if you mean what I think you mean by giving your wagon the Crovo treatment, save that for December and we can both do it. |

| Maybe that flasheroo guy is a bot too...
81x11 - you make a good point. Any idiot can steal these cars. If you have a nice one, you would be wise to get a steering column lock and install it. Make sure it's very obvious so that it serves as a deterrent. It'll save you a lot of money. Speaking of that, I need to get mine installed...
