Hi all, I finally fixed my wagon, details are in the Electrical section under Failure...ha! My buddies from work and I had been planning a fishing trip to Northeast Texas for a long time and I really wanted to take the wagon. Sometimes things just work out!
I won't bore you with the fishing pics, but it was a gorgeous day today and I ended up stopping a lot and getting some really good Roadmaster pics. We fished on Cedar Creek Lake and stayed in the very Texas-sounding town of Gun Barrel City. Fishing, steaks, BEER, good friends, was an AWESOME weekend.
ANYWAY to get back on topic the trip was about 500 miles round-trip. I left early this morning and decided to take back-roads home. Ended up seeing some great Texas Big Sky country! Went through Corsicana Texas, where I attended Navarro College about 20-years ago (yikes) and got some pics there too.
I love Texas. Saw everything from DEEP woods to wide-open spaces, flat grassland and hills, all in one afternoon. Set the cruise control at 80mph and got 22.9mpg! A/C Blastin, 100 degrees outside. I LOVE that car.
Anyway, great trip. Lots of pics....enjoy!

Drove the Buick on the grass near the lake. Love these pics!
Then got this cool pic on a closed train track:
Downtown Corsicana Texas, my college hometown. I like the brick streets.
My College:
HOLY COW IT'S COMING RIGHT AT ME!
Another pic of the jet on the Navarro College Campus. NEAT!
Time to get on the road...south, just pick a 2-lane on the map and let her run!
100 degress! Texas in August. Thank goodness for A/C!
Set the cruise at 80 and let her run those smooth flat empty roads. Zoommm!
You ever watch The Blues Brothers?
We're on a mission from God...
Another pretty lake!
Driving across the dam!
The huge Texas sky. You can see forever!
Cool, an OLD wagon!
Now where does this road go.......?
It goes to an old bridge over a creek. Good place for more pics!
Almost home
VERY cool name for a highway!
Made it home. Hope you enjoyed the pics!
Have a great weekend all and keep them on the road!
