95-96 interior rear view mirror

I just picked a nice interior rear view mirror. 7 pin connector. It has map lights and auto dim. I would like $49.99 plus shipping. It includes the puck for the glass.

Thank you for posting. Am I correct that this mirror would be correct for a 1996 FWB? In the affirmative, and assuming that the map lights and the auto-dim all work, I am interested. What color is it?

They only came in black. I do not have the ability to test them. Mirrors seldom go bad, but I can not guarantee the bulbs are good. The reflectors look good from the outside of the lens. It has the 7 pin connector, so if the FW has the same connector, it should work. I believe it is the top of the line mirror for 94-96.

Mine looks fine but the bottom part is slowly detaching and the auto-dimming function does not seem to work. A dark burgundy elastic band is a quick fix, but I am looking for one that works for sure.

I think that the correct NOS part nbr is 15013016 -- is there a way for you to check that the one you have for sale is the same?

I do not see a part number on it. All of the parts I sell are used, and can have some small imperfections. They are serviceable parts, but not necessarily show quality. I do not get many of them, and the prices at the junk yards are going up,, just like everything else.

i have a rearview mirror that i am not sure if it is functioning correctly - if it is currently dark, does it need to be hooked back up to power in order to go back to clear (daytime)? I have one for sale for a 91-93 model based on the connection wires and had plugged it into my wagon to test but it's a pita to do that and don't like constantly swapping connections back and forth in case something breaks from age.
I guess my question is, is the darkening feature electronically controlled so if it goes dark and you unplug it, it will stay that way instead of going clear in the sunlight?

There should be a switch on the bottom of the mirror to switch from night to day. I have never heard of one going "dark", so plugging it in may or may not cause a difference in function. You should not have to swap connections for the mirror to work properly.

I do not know if it is other than normal. The switch is on the bottom in the middle. The only way I know to find out is to plug it in and test it.
