| I *Believe* you need to have them hosted on the web (AKA photobucket et al) and then just link them here with the | |

| Welcome! To host an image, if you don't have anything on Photobucket or a similar site, there are two buttons on top of where you type your message that looks like a little computer screen, click on the one towards the left. That one will host your pic. It will give you a URL to paste into the message. On a side note, any interest in Moderating this forum? You may be more familiar with the guys that would frequent this section than some of the others... No problem if you don't want to though... | |

| I posted the pics on photobucket under "68BBwgn". When I took tese pics I just brought it home. I drove it from the used car lot with "maypop" bias ply tires. I have since updated the tires & rims to 17" Crager SS with stock 255/50/17 Hankook Ventus tires. Added dual exhaust & rebuilt the brakes. That is all.
If you can't find the pics I could e-mail them to someone. Thanks. Sorry I am technically challenged.

| I checked it over real good before I bought it. It looks all original underneath & inside the car. The gas cap still has a chain on it. Underneath is rock solid. That is what impressed me. The body is is fairly solid to except for the front fenders behind the frt wheels, & the lower quarter panels are need some attention but a far cry from being a rust bucket. It is nice to just turn the key & drive. | |

I am with Ray. Great car and color. I had a 70 caprice that color. It was a sedan with a 350.

| Those are the two main trouble spots on those cars, the front fender has an open support bracket that traps dirt/mud and it rusts out, the inner fender leaves a small enough gap for this to happen. I think there are still patch panels available for the front fender. The lower quarter patches were offered in two pieces but they were for the sedan that has a slightly different curve to the rear quarter panel, but I would think that it would offer a good starting place for a fresh panel. One of the things I learned is that 1968 was a strike year for GM and there are wild variations of all 1968 Chevrolets, mainly in the trim department, the build quality more than likely suffered as a result too. I would have to say that with the exception of the Camaro I like everything Chevrolet produced in 1968. |

| With a325Hp motor I did not try with the bias ply may pops. They were so dry rotted I thought all four would blow before I got it home. | |

| Very cool! I had a Big Block '68 Fastback a few years ago...I love the look of the 68's. Mine was a 307 and Powerglide that I converted over to a 454 and TH400. (put in a 12 bolt 3.31 rear too) I like your wagon and I hope you keep updating your progress!!!!
