| Ah, no. that kind of two tone will devalue your car. that would give it that just bondoed the bottom of the doors, sills, along with the bottom of the rear quaters look | |

| Dave sorry but to me it looks like you are trying to hide some rust damage by covering it with some paint you found in the shed! You Asked Jim Gordon |

| Use a gloss metallic gray instead of satin, and these complaints would go away. FWIW, I find that often the factory will two-tone with the darker color on top. I think it's more tasteful, but I've also considered doing a darker lower coat as well, and with the right color combo, it works. | |

| Thanks for the feedback, point taken. I need to repaint the front bumper again, and I was trying to come up with some new ideas. | |

| Your car looked much better stock dood. This looks like you threw a couple of primered aftermarket bumpers on it after an accident. | |

| Dave I have loved that 91 caprice since you first got it,simply because it was a prestine 91 caprice with a 305. It is your car and yours alone but now it has the x cop car auction look, and does nothing for me. I used to be somewhat like you in that I couldn't just leave a car alone. Thats why now I just get black ones, and if I keep them clean, they always look good. Still a very nice car you have ,look after it. Lorne. | |

| Yeah sorry for the confusion, it's just a (poorly done) photoshop. Unfortunately it's not pristine, and the paint on both bumpers is shot, so I was just brainstorming, since I will have to respray them anyway. But I will be respraying them either matching, or if I do do a two-tone, it will be gunmetal, like this: | |
