| Hows everyone doin'? My name is James aka Tuffluck. I have been lurking on this board and ISSF for the last coupla weeks, decided to call this place home, seems a lot more laid back and friendly here. Just bought my 1st B-body, itsa 1992 Old C.C.. I have admired the bodystyle for the last few yrs, but got a chance to get this one for a song and I had to jump on it. I am glad to be a part of this forum and look foward to meeting some cool people, learning some new stuff and sharing the build. | |

| Welcome aboard! You'll see quite a few of the same faces both here and on ISSF. Congrats on the new (to you) Cruiser! Even though the don't have the all mighty LT1, they are still my favorite wagons. Post more pics if you can, we always love to look. | |

| I have seen a few from the other forum, have talked to a coupla guys about parts, so it is nice to "see" some friendly faces, lol. The pics I have right now really stink, they were taken at my buddies shop and there isn't alotta room, but as soon as I have it home for good, start looking for progress pics, lol. I wish it was an Lt1 car, but was rather suprised the 305 moved as well as it does. I think I am gonna enjoy this car and the people in the forum equally. | |

| Welcome!!!
I was also surprised at my first 305 for it ability to move that much metal that well. But I did enjoy the MPG better than the LT1. This may be, of course, driver error also.
Glad to see you here representing the CC crowd!!! post pics soon.

| Uber, I didn't realize when I found the car it was a 2 yr only deal, I thought that was very cool. I have the correct grill on its way, was afraid it was gonna be a pain to find, but one of the members had one, so it worked out great. StockForNow, I really dig your wagon, mine looks alot like yours, if you add some dents, rust and vista roof, lol. | |

And the 92 is the rarer of the two. Less than 4,500 were made. Certainly not a small number but considering how most of them were treated and the huge numbers of them in salvage yards, they aren't going to be easy to find for long. I shudder to think how many wagons were crushed when scrap prices were so high last summer. Lots of good parts are gone forever. Heck, I'm in the process of stripping my fourth Cruiser for parts. Two have been 92's.

| I knew the numbers were lower than the caprices and being an odd ball, I like being different, so its win win , lol. Lucky Tn and Ga dont randomly grab non ops outta your driveway like some other states do, but we dont have pick and pulls here, so you are at the mercy of the yard owners. Very few will allow you past the counter in fear you'll steal something. Ahhh, welcome to the meth capital of the south... | |
