| Random question, I know. But last night I got to thinking, ive never seen a factory black OCC. Was that a color option or was that reserved for the RMW and Caprice? | |

| Cruisers were available in Black though the brochures (I think) didn't state so. I'll have to look when I get home. I only know of two. One was for sale years ago on ISSF, the other was parted, also on ISSF. I have it's grille in my garage. I think both that I know of were 92's also. Not 100% on that though. | |

| Judging by that. Black was not an optional color in '92. So any "factory" OCC's must have been special order? | |

| sapphire blue metallic was never an option but I had one. Only NYSP police cars got that factory color including the 1A2 I owned. You could always special order if you wanna pay. Fred had a green wagon with red leather interior, which I think he sold to Santa Claus if I remember right..... Klez had a flat black one but it was a Crovo special | |

| Yeah black was not listed in the brochures for the OCC, but as others have said, anything is available if you want to pay for it. Compnine shows no black OCC's for 1991, but for 1992 there were 24 OCC's with option: EXTERIOR COLOR,PRIMARY,BLACK (41U). There was also ONE '92 OCC with RPO code "exterior, primary 33U" which i think is that metallic **** brown seen on a lot of GMC pickups of the day. Basically if you ever do see an OCC in a factory black, you must acquire it. | |

| That's next on Sprocket's list of rare OCCs then. But hopefully it'll have a 350. |

| That is seanu's from Jacksonville, not klez's.
Hood scoops from a 75ish Firebird and fog light opening from a 93ish SSE Bonneville. | |
