So we missed all the snow down here...but had heavy HEAVY rain all last night. I get in the OCC this morning to begin my morning commute..in a rush like always...and halfway to work I notice my left shoulder is cold. Dang! It soaking wet!! WTH?? The seatbelt is soaked. Then I wonder....I reach my hand around to feel the rear floorpan. Sounded like I'm splashing in the tub. Lol

I'm talking a good half inch above the carpet. Looks like it came in and down the B-pillar. Headliner is fine. Just the rear footwell (and what sloshed up toward the front as I drove) and the parts of the seatbelt that rolls up in the pillar.

Is it Mon again!?!!?

At least I'm pulling the carpet up for the Console install soon anyhow. Rolling Eyes

Here is a pic of what was left after I made it to work.

Wet and Wild... Inflatable-car-bouncy-pool-838

Sure you didn't drive this to work today instead????

When we get Tropical rain here, I get about 2-3 inches in the drivers side rear well under the box.....then the humidity starts the tail gate popper randomly....go figure that one out

Mine just started doing this under heavy water. Check your door seals, I can see daylight between the strip and the door Sad I bought a new weatherstrip off the shelf at Auto Zone of all places.

I once drove through a heavy rainstorm in the first leg of a trip from New Hampshire to Albuquerque. I had started driving after dinner, because I had already packed all my stuff into the car, and there was no point in sleeping on the floor of my ex-apartment.

The next morning I got into the car and there was an INCH of water on the floor. Everything that was packed on the floor was soaked. I unpacked my towels and mopped the car out the best I could.

It turned out that the grommet in the firewall for the speedometer cable was just dangling there on the engine side of the firewall.

So, I sympathize.
