Well I was concerned that with the Superbowl there would not be a good showing at Cars and Coffee today...but OH MAN WAS I WRONG! This was the BIGGEST Cars and Coffee so far. I think after the snow shut the town down on Friday people were just dying to get out. Temps in the upper 60's to low 70's, huge blue sky, man it's a really pretty day today....sorry Crovo.
Dad had cleaned up my Roadmaster yesterday and volunteered to drive it too, so we took both the Cutlass and the Roady wagon to the show. Such fun! Both got tons of attention, such fun!
I want to first say if you are on dial-up, you may want to give up now. Eddie, Dad and I took a TON of pics and I'm downloading them all. Also, we did go to the Austin Swap-Meet at the VFW after Cars and Coffee, but I'll post those pics in another thread, there are not nearly as many, was just a small swap meet.
The sheer amount of odd an awesome cars at these events is staggering. It's heaven for a car nut like me!
On with the Cars and Coffee pics!
Dad, Eddie and I loading the Cutlass and Roady up at my house to head to Cars and Coffee in Leander Texas
And heading out, me in the Cutty and Dad in the Roady. Part of the drive is on the highway and part of it is on a great 2-lane twist country road. It's about 25-mins from my house to Leander.
