to think 24 hours ago I could see my lawns and the tulips were starting to sprout and the birds were chirping happily...
I've had enough of the snow already!

Yea, I feel ya. Kids didn't have school today and just to spice things up, we were without power from 7am - 3pm.

I'm well past over it.

BTW, I was looking at your thermometer and I am confused. I went out and looked at mine and if my needle was pointing in the same direction, it would be 68* (0-140) Are the Yankee thermometers different? (like -40 - +40)? lol!

my thermometer is both c and f at the 12 O clock it's actually reading 0c 32f, it was at -5c in that picture about 10 degrees cooler than it should be this time of year

There are negatives to warm weather. Supposed to be low 90's here in Austin this weekend. Went over to Mom and Dad's last night, and he was trying to get their backyard pool cleaned out and open for the kids this weekend, and discovered the pool pump was just blowing bubbles and not pumping water. He had to dig up all the pvc pipes from the pump beside their house to the pool in the back yard, to find one of the pipes had burst over the winter.

Spent the evening making Home Depot runs for PVC pipe and cement, and now it all had to be re-buried and re-sodded.

The folks love their pool, but I think they are more trouble than they are worth. Pumps failing, heater going out, and endless skimming of leaves out of the water. Half the time I call my folks I'm told "your father is out cleaning the pool".

That still won't keep me from USING the pool this weekend though! Ha!

Never a dull moment.
