will these work on a lt1 wagon? Pair local on CL for a good price..... seller claims they are for an LT1 Camaro...summit says gen 1 small block.
price very tempting.

would there be any point on putting them on a 305 I wonder too.

I think they will. You will have to cut some of the lower control arm mount braces in the process.

Be aware that these headers are VERY thin gauge steel. You are getting what you pay for; not saying you shouldn't buy them, but just keep it in mind.

Sprocket. The only cheap headers that seem to fit well are the Afterburner headers. Several posts on the "other" forum. Do a search. May have to cut the frame re-enforcement.

What about the set of shorty headers that Mike"200 OZ"has for sale. They are Edelbrocks and will probably fit with
a little work.Just a thought>

They (the long tubes) won't fit.

After Burner is the best cheap header. No frame cutting or anything necessary to install them. The Summit long tubes work after cutting the frame braces.

I have a thread/pics both here and at ISSF detailing my install of a set of After Burners. I recommend them to anyone looking for a cheap header.

Yes, afterburners are the best "cheap" set to go with. Uncoated they are about $200 and coated $350.

Keep in mind even with coating headers do not last like manifolds in a humid area. I had a long conversation with Bruce from Stan's Headers about header life. Humidity seems to be key. I am sure salt (NY, NJ, North East) has something to do with it. Running a car is better than sitting or on/off. According to Bruce, dry head is the best atmosphere. The factory just re coated a set off of the Stan's truck that were 15 years old. In southern Cali mind you. They were not stainless.

Seems that to stay totally rust free you have to had 304 stainless. Big Bucks!!!

Jason Chapelle has a set of these for sale...........
