| whats up guys ive been a long time b body owner (96 impala, 95, and 2 94 caprices) but just picked up my first wagon about 2 months ago just outside of memphis. its a 92 Olds Custom Cruiser. Flat black, impala grill, smoothie roll pan, blue leather interior, double din deck, great sound system, and more. this is my first TBI b body and im trying to figure out the madness. right now im having an egr problem( i think) it pulled an egr code so i went out and bought a new one, stuck it on but im still getting a surge while crusing and it sometimes dies after deceleration although the CEL went away. if anyone has any advice and could point me in the right direction i would love the help! anyway i like to do themes with my cars and this one i have deemed the "Decepticon Wagon" gonna keep the dark look and go with a PPG Ultra Black with a Hot Hues, Hot rod matte clear. also plan on adding 22'' centerline smoothies within the next year painted the same color maybe with some neat airbrushing. has the 5.7 350 also looking for a few gofast pointers. nothing too drastic just want to be able to keep up with my LTI couterparts! anyway great forum here guys! | |

| You're the same dude from the ISSF. I can't wait to do the satin black on my wagon. My favorite color choice. Also why are you missing a lugnut on the RR wheel? |

| Welcome! Good to see another Olds in the group, and also another Arkansas member. I've got a Buick myself but am a big fan of the Olds models. Also my entire family is from Jonesboro and Newport, so I'm enjoying your license plates!
Lots of good folks on here that I'm sure can chime in on some ideas to wake up and smooth out your TBI.
Keep the pics coming as the updates happen too please!

| Almost looks like a custom plate you a sled, lol. Nice OCC. I think you need to go back to the Olds grille as you have a 350 '92 Olds, rarest production numbers of all bubble wagons. One year with Olds and Chevy side glass, only 4400 total built, less with the optional 350. The grilles look good in flat black and split grille looks badazz with twin scoops ala 70s firebird or 442. (Klez on ISSF had done this on an OCC in flat black and it looked great!!) Interior is nice and clean too. for some quick extra umph, get 9c1 injectors, and 9c1 Y-pipe (on my list to do), Buickestate on this forum has some good ideas with helping the TBI motor along with easy add ons. check your vacuum lines for a starter I would think for the surging... | |

| Welcome abaord. Cool Cruiser and you found it in my backyard to boot. I'm with Sproket regarding the grille. I can never figure out why folks put Chevy grilles on Cruisers and Roadmasters. However, I always thought it would be cool to convert a Caprice sedan to a one-of-one Olds by changing the grille, dash, interior, etc. | |

Also why are you missing a lugnut on the RR wheel? are you doing a bc/cc or spray bomb? i thought about doing rustomleum paint but i heard it gets scuffed pretty easy. im not sure why im missing a lug. it was like that when i got it. ill put that on the todo list

the grille was on there when i purchased the car. and i cant seem to find one at a pick n pull around here anywhere. im kinda torn between the two i like the look of the imp grille and the olds it would be nice to have both to interchange. believe me i know the rarity of the car. i did a comp 9 vin check and i have a 1 of 1 car with exact options. pretty cool.

| Yeah I'm thinking about a satin spray bomb job. Chalkboard is cool, but if you leave it too long or if people are douches and push too hard their "designs" get stuck on the car. |

| I spray bombed Grimace in my driveway with 15 mph winds blowing and it's not scuffing up (I just 'washed' it with a bathroom scrub brush to remove bugs and figured the paint would scratch but it didn't)
check the wagonfest FL thread for pics of the paint.
