Here's an easy headlight mod that can be accomplished in a few hours with a minimum amount of experience.
First off, you WILL need to modify your radiator support so if you don't want to do that, then this mod isn't for you.
Start by removing your headlight and parking light assemblies from the car. You will need to cut the headlight capsule brackets where the parking light is so the parking light can be mounted later on. The outer mounting bolts on the Diamante headlights will need to come off too. Trim them flush with a dremel but don't remove too much, you need the lower tab to mount the headlight.
Clearance the core support behind the "low" beam side of the Diamante headlight. Once there is sufficient room behind there to let the headlight move, make some templates from a scrap shoebox, cereal or other thin cardboard box for ONE side. Simply flip the template for the other side. The outer bracket is essentially flat with a slight bend in it and 2 holes to mount it to the body and a slotted adjustment hole that the lower tab from the Diamante mounts to. The inner L bracket is also slotted for adjustment.
Before the headlights are permanently mounted, you should extend the parking light harness to the corner lights...
Once the headlight is in and mounted, take the original headlight capsule, cut the bracket off even with the edge of the headlight. Some more trimming will be required to get a nice fit but be patient...
Don't expect a huge difference in light output with these. The pattern is better but the output is still about the same. Now would be a good time to consider an HID upgrade in them or at the least, a good set of bulbs (9005/6)
