| Like new Z-28 cluster showing 70,000 miles modified to plug into any LT-1 Roadmaster sedan or wagon, with full instructions, template and oil sending switch $400 shipped anywhere. Recently modified by Gary Meier, only selling because I bought a second RMS which has the Z-28 cluster and an automatic. | |

| Scot I will gladly vouch for Mike if need be.I quarantee that your cluster will be so clean that you wont recognize it after a day or so.Mike's the only guy I know who uses a Micron gauge to determine just how dirty the interior of his car is.When he is done installing your cluster the BACKSIDE will be cleaner than most hospital ER rooms. | I've asked Scot to send me a pic of the Z-cluster installed in his wife's Roadmaster sedan, or to post it on the forum thread here. Looking forward to seeing that. From what I understand it's basically plug-n-play with the stock Roady dash plugs, but have to midify where they mount to the dash itself, no big deal. I have to replace the oil pressure sender on the engine with one for a gauge, not a light, like I did on the old 86 Caprice when I put gauges in it. I also have to plug a wire into an empty slot on the PCM fuse box to run the tach, comes with instructions. Other than that it's "supposed" to just plug in. We'll see! I lose the Gate Ajar and Cruise Control idiot lights, and the PRNDL, but that's a fair trade for a tach, oil and bat gauge. And it's going to look SO much better! Here's a pic of the Z-cluster installed in a Caprice. SHARP! | |

And it's going to look SO much better! quote] The gate ajar and cruise lights are fairly useless anyway (never did own a cruise control car equipped with an indicator light), but I remember someone mentioning you could use one of the unused lights (trac control or something?) on the Z28 cluster to substitute for a gate ajar light. As for the PRNDL, I myslef wouldn't want to loose that, so when I do find "the one" Caprice wagon someday and I put a Z28 cluster in it, I'm going to get me one of these and put it in the dash near the shifter: Dakota Digital gear position indicatorsOn an RM though you've got all that dead space around the outside of the Z28 cluster you could put an indicator there. | |

| I put my first z28 cluster in about 11yrs ago,. i did some base runs with the factory 3.08 gears,. then i did runs with the 3:73's,. wasn't easy to drive and take pics at the same time,. but you can see that the 3:73's really helped the little motor go quicker,. This was also the first car i put bigger brakes on,. Nick | |

| No wonder you don't want flaking wheels! I don't know if the guy who bought them intends to go that fast but I'm guessing...NO | |
