Getting ready? Me? Nah.

Too late to do anything now........ Vacation started today.

Detail the car

scrounge cash for the things I need at the fest (parts that have been ordered/requested)

Inventory and pack detail chemicals and equipment needed

Fix that flat spare of mine and pull out a nail in one of my tires that's been there for a month (put 10-15lb of air every 2 days)

Change oil, replace front bearings- is 66K too many miles on a set?

I REALLY need to stop procrastinating..... I think I'll start tomorrow.

Mike, just programed your address into the Tom Tom because, well, Rob Rob takes the scenic route after he gets off of 81........

As long as they are not pitted or otherwise worn out I would just clean and repack the bearings. No real need to replace if they are not busted up.

Those going to the fest, have fun, and get lots of pics.

As the saying goes, "Maybe next year" Sad

Intake gasket
Valve Cover gaskets
Paint door jambs (probably won't get to that)
Change Plugs, Wires, Cap and Rotor
Tranny filter and Air filter
Get muffler changed (I hope)
Clean the interior to the best it will get,.. which isn't very nice excpet for the back section which I changed out already
Plus a few things for my dad, and fix the customers cars that are here, cause I need the cash for the trip.

Is anyone coming from anywhere near Chicago or somewhere along 90? I really want to come, but my wife doesn't and I don't want to drive the whole way by myself.

gonna spend the week at work (including fri-sun) wishing I was in NY.

Dave, book your flight, I'm SURE one of these guys would be happy to pick and drop you at the airport.
Pat offered to get me at Buffalo last year, but I just couldn't afford the flight (wasn't working).

Well if the forcast don't change it looks like a wet week end, that means the Ratmaster is staying home I can't expect anyone to drive it five hours in pouring rain one way and still be pleasant to deal with upon arrival!
So let us pray for warm sunny weather and hope the forcast changes between now and thursday evening

If not I'm comming alone in the 93

Pat

I just looked at the forecast and it looks overall like a pretty good weekend. There are going to be thunderstorms but a lot of sun. I'm sure one thunderstorm is one too many in the Ratmaster.

Just did a quick wheelwell/brake detail, mounted up a set of SS wheels, and will do wash/wax/vacuum tomorrow morning before I leave around lunch. Should be at the shop by 4 to say hi, then back at the shop in the evening.

Safe driving everyone! See you tomorrow...

Whoo! Pat, that wagon is ready to go!

We gave up 6 exits North of the NY border on I81. Weather was horrible...interstate flooded in multiple spots....we counted 5 wrecks....took one detour due to shut down interstate. SERIOUSLY?

Was not planning on this hotel stay tonight, but just can't go any further. So tired. ZZZZzzzzz......

Mike, I hope you guys have better luck on that route tomorrow.
