I put mine in the driver's side storage pocket. I took the door off, made an MDF plate for the plastic "enclosure" and carpeted it to match. Sounds great. You can hear the "enclosure" flexing a bit with real heavy bass in a rap song, but for everything else, it's good. Including movies!

Have the amp mounted in front of that, under the quarter trim, above the driver's rear wheel arch.

Hahaha, that storage area is where I stashed my CD changer in my last wagon. Glad to see it has so many uses.

And Crovo, time to pull the shop vac out and get after that carpet Bud!

Was wondering if this being a subwoofer and non directional. Can you leave the door on and really be stealthy with the sub install? Would the bass still be heard? And would the door still fit after installing the sub? Great idea and nice placement in the quarter panel. Shocked

Maybe cut holes in the door, or cut it out and put plexiglas, sort of like a bandpass box.

The door would fit, but rattle like an SOB! Smile

My plan was to cut the middle plastic out of the door, leaving only like a 1/2" frame, leaving the carpet, to hit it completely. But I never got around to it. With the tint, you can't see it anyways, so I didn't feel the need. Wink

It would, but the airspace is perfect for a 10, but would be too small for a 12".

hmm, I've got a 12" DVC with a 1000W amp... and I'm thinking I might just sell it and install my old CDT 10" and 400W amp.
