Took the Roady to today's Cars and Coffee. Weather in the low 80's and not a cloud in the sky. Really pretty day for a car show.....and had a BIG turn-out.
LOTS of Pics. Enjoy!

This is an Arel Atom. Early ones were powered by Civic Type R motors. Later ones powered by turbocharged ecotec 2.4s from Cobalts. 260hp in something that light? Yes.
They could also be had with V8s. Those are SUPER SPECIAL. I would love one of these.

That one LOOKS like one of the later Ecotec turbo models. Do want. Imagine - LT1 power in something that's 1/4 the size.

Did you notice how brown the "grass" is in the pics....and the brown splotches in the trees. Thank goodness it cooled off...but it's SO dry still.
The drive out to Leander from Georgetwon is normally really pretty, a curving 2-lane with lots of hills and vistas. It was somewhat depressing today....all you see is brown fields and trees.
Car show is great....happy we've FINALLY dropped out of the 100's, but still no rain...and MAN do we need it. I've never seen anything like this.
Such fun!
On a happier note the Roady got a lot of looks and good comments. Was really nice to see that Impala SS there...so many are beat up or "blinged" now, it was nice to see one that still looked mostly original and clean.
A good day. Hope ya'll all had a good weekend!

Great pics as usual...... And I agree the Atom would be my choice for fun.
The Impala looked pretty clean, but I did not like under the hood bling.

I'll take the flamed cars over the Camaro with the pink accents, seats, and hearts all over it. Yucko!
That Imperial Crown coupe was one of my favorite cars at the show. The details are so cool. Spent a long time looking it over.
