| Hey Bill when do you guys usually get your first substantial snow?We usually get a couple inches at the most 2 or 3 times a year. Its hilarious to watch people attempt even the most simple maneuvers around here when it snows a little.Almost everything shuts down and all the schools close. Jim |

| Shoot, we don't even plow for only 3 inches! Usually after Thanksgiving is the first real snow. Mid Decemberish. But my summer tires were rubbing so badly that I had to get them off. So I put the snows on about a month early. | |

| Power back (for the second time) we were out for about 25 hours. "only" got a bout 2 inches but since there are (were) lots of leaves on the trees still, it meant lots of down trees, limbs, etc.
We're shopping for generators now.... | |

| Yeah, lots of tree guys and line crews out! You should see all the local hotel parking lots, chock full of out of state help! Line and tree trucks as far as the eye can see. There are still a LOT of people without power. Some main roads and whole neighborhoods STILL have big trees and power lines down almost a week later.... And technically I worked into Wednesday. I started my shift at 7am Tuesday and then when I was getting ready to leave at 6pm, we had an emergency call out for a burnt fiber optic cable. So I had to go out to that. Didn't get back to the garage til 730am Wednesday... Got home at 8am and passed out til 4!!!! Scoobie is awesome in the snow. I was driving it in about 6 inches of heavy, slushy, snow and it may have well as been dry pavement with the snow tires. Sucked. Boo. I had to have it to the boards and then the tires'd finally break loose when the boost came on! | |
