Dear Bosch,

I am deeply concerned. I have used your products in my beloved VW for almost 4 years now with nary a hiccup. Yet when it comes to making a fuel pump for a 1993 Caprice, you fail miserably. Today, I recently removed one of your pumps from my car for the THIRD time in under 4 months and about 700 miles. Now, don't get me wrong. These are mechanical things... and they break but for goodness sake, THREE in 4 months? For shame. I am so sorry I wasted countless hours and $120 on what you consider a "quality" part. I have since come to my senses and bought an American made, AC-Delco part for less than what I paid for your Mexican made, joke of a product. From now on I will think twice about even using your VW products as your piss poor quality control leaves much to be desired.

Regards,

A very bitter Chevrolet owner

Judging by their fuel pumps. Not a whole hell of a lot. Laughing

For the record: Bosch for Euro cars, AC Delco for GM.

I've been using AC/Delco for a long time now, well 18 or so years anyway, but I'm done with the AC/Delco steering parts. Outer tie rods in my RMW, Chevy Venture, and my mother-in laws Mercury Sable. The outer tie rods have all gone to pot with in 18 months of putting them on. Inners seem fine, replaced them on the wagon any way, Moog for here on out for suspension parts. AC/Delco drums and rotors have been made in China for a few years now, but the price's are still double than with box.... Frustrating. Harder and harder to find good parts made in the US, but the China parts are getting better and better. Embarassed

See, Nick. It would have been so much funnier if I owned a roadmaster and if I were stupid. But thanks for playing! Laughing

I hear ya. I was stunned to see the bulk of the parts from my tuneup were american made. The only thing that wasn't was the cap and the rotor. Everything else was US. cheers
