| David, did you ask them to position the wagon up on those blocks?Kinda restricts what you can get at underneath dont it?Pop said it looks like a Lincoln but he hasnt seen one in years.Use to work at a ford dealer back in 47-48 and he says it a lincoln engine. Jim |

Jim Nah, if I was getting the axle that would have been convenient. Looks like someone did a bad job hacking one of the cats off it. Maybe it is a lincoln, I couldn't find anything to identify it.

I'm surprised the peanut gallery hasn't chimed in yet to say the Lincoln V-12 is a slow and junky engine and it should have an LT1 installed. 1937 four door sedan?

| Thanks Al,I will tell him he was correct about the Lincoln. Will make his day knowing he got it right. When we were kids we always played guess the make and year until Mom would scream at us to do something else. Jim |

Don't worry you didn't miss out. Both front fenders were damaged! It's a shame that car was as beat up as it was, but 300k miles will do that. That wagon worked hard for someone.

| I can't imagine finding a bugeye Sprite in a yard. That's wild!
Looks like a good yard.
The wood on that one Caprice was funky!

-Mike They don't usually have classics here, that was kind of a treat. That caprice had the dealer installed wood on it, I actually kind of like the way it cuts off at the door handles.
