| Hi all. Heard about GM LongRoof over at Station Wagon Forums. I recently got a '94 Buick Century wagon and I'm real glad to have it. It has around 77,000 miles and is in pretty nice shape. I'm having a great time maintaining and improving/repairing it. It has fairly minor issues such as front power windows that don't work and a front bumper cover that needs replacing as well as a few missing exterior trim pieces. Some of the fun I've already had with it includes stripping and polishing the alloy wheels, replacing the hood support, and giving it a thorough detailing. I've been gathering some upgrade parts from the local salvage yards, too. Look forward to hanging out with my fellow wagon enthusiasts.

| Hey fellow Floridian, Nice clean Century. FL style bug deflector too, but I don't see the requisite retiree compass on the dash Are you looking for those trim pieces? I can keep an eye out, possibly going to a yard or two on Sunday. What part of SW FL? | |

| Thanks for the welcome, everyone. Yeah, that bug deflector adds a bit of "character" to the car. It's sort of like the pocket protector of automobiles. It'll probably be gone when I get around to replacing the grille with a new one. The original owner was indeed a retiree (and World War II Veteran) and added it along with window screen to the grille which I took off. And yes Sprocket, there was a compass on the dash. It had already been removed by the time I got the car from his daughter. Found it in the rear storage area and there's a spot on the dash with a slightly different sheen where it was once mounted. He also installed a beeping back up warning light which I replaced with a standard bulb. | |

| Welcome. My Grandmother had the Pontiac version of that. She backed it into all kinds of things, lol. It seemed small on the outside, but for what it was it could fit a lot of stuff. Shouldn't be too hard to find the parts you need. Around here at least there are still about a million of those Cutlass and Century wagons left, and half of them are blue! GM built the same car for so long they eventually got it down pat, lol. In fact, a guy on the next block has two of these. One the exact same as yours and the other a Cutlass Cruiser in blue w/ no wood. | |
