Back in 1992, that wasn't so sad at all. 20 years later, maybe, but not then. Remember this was the first year in over ten years that you could get such a powerful motor in a civilian B-body. Think of the emissions choked carbed '80s V8s this replaced....

first ones was 7 1/2. by playing with the gas between gears. the second was 9 1/2 flat out. I should of found the true time before I put the cold air intake and the magnaflow glasspack on.
Anyone else have the time down?

I would have filmed the 0-60 on my 307-powered '89 Custom Cruiser a few years back....but did not have enough time....the film would still be running!
I see nothing wrong with your car!

Yeah, 0-60 in a 307 powered Olds wouldn't be possible. Without digital media, that would take a few VHS tapes at least....

Shoo! That is good..wagon sounds nice as well. Do you have the towpack gears?
Here is a 0-75 I took Sat of my '95 RMW. Full tank and uphill. Lol I need to put the 3.42 posi in and it needs a good tune too. Not fast, but I am proud of the work I've done! As you should too CarloNYC!

doesn't the LT1 with stock top end run into valve float at around 4800 RPM? and with age and miles, those same springs weaken and float sooner? If that is true, then 4200 is at the top of the power band.
If I am wrong, feel free to remove that from your collective short term memories.
