Shaved Woody new look.

The weather was nice so decide to give her a new look,Not the wheels i have in mind (20x8 front 245/45r20 20x10 rear 315/35r20 DREAMING)
The wheels are made by Blazn wheel BZ922 20x8.5. from craigs list.
I am also looking for Buick Tri Shields for the center caps?

Ehhhh... Man, I don't want to sound like a jerk, but I'm not a fan of either on that car. You need some painted rallyes and wide whites or a solid polished wheel or something...

I like it,.. now go get some more of that woodgrain vinyl and put on those stainless dust shields.

Lowering it would be really cool but like me I won't do it, only because when we travel,.. this is what we take. The 6 of us in it lowers it enough. I know when I get all my new springs and bilstein shocks in my will have a higher ride as well. Good enough for me now. But I am hearing you Crovo.

One of these dayz it will get lowered,I have a set of airbag brackets front and rear that have been collecting dust.When ever I get around to it ill be filling them up at gas stations like air shocks.

The rallies that i love are American Racing VN327 327 Rally Mag.
A pair 20x12 with 315/35r20 would look absolutely killer.


I also have an idea for a low buck 20" rally,'Top Secret'.

My son said the same thing about the wood grain on the disc simulators,or even on the spokes which came with black plastic inserts maybe ill give a weekend project.

I'm just glad that after reading the thread title, this wasn't in the "adult" section.

Yesssss wood those inserts, that will look cool and so much better than the dust shields. Since they will look odd cus of the grain direction.

I think the dust shields stick out too much. From the stock photo you posted, they look like they've got some potential though.

The shields will stay until i can afford an brake upgrade and rear disc.

I do have some extra wood grain for the spokes when i get around to it i will surly post.
I use Eagle One wire wheel/chrome wheel cleaner works the best for me.

I need educating. Why are 'dust shields' necessary? I thought their function was to hide the brake gear. Yes; No?
