| Loosen the little screws that hold the latch, and move it out a little. | |

| The striker may be bent. It is nearly impossible to replace the striker without tearing out the whole dash. It is made of sheet metal, so it is easy to bend. | |

Well, you didn't say, but can't he just 'bend' it back a little rather than tearing out the whole dash?

| I had a loose connection in my module? (was causing engine light to come on) and I think it got repaired through the right side of dash near glove box where that panel comes off. I am not sure but it worked fine prior to this being done. | |

I stated it was easy to bend, so by inferrence, it can be bent back as easily as it is to bend.

| Can you take a pic of the latch and the striker? Will it not close all the way? Dont forget those two rubber stoppers (flaps) on the sides. If they were pooped out...that could keep the door from closing. | |
