| Hello all. I am new to the wagon scene, as an owner anyway. Loved them for years! Right now interior is original grey velour, no rips or stains. A/C works, but rear driver's side window stopped workiing. Has 305 V-8, had a 350 with vortec heads given to me, will have to be gone through, that will come with time. I am intrested in ideas of mods. I know by looking at some of the posts on here you all are very imaginitive of things to do. Right now it is a daily driver, only 93,000, so I don't want the car to be "down" for too long at a time. Any hints, or tricks to doing things that are common problems. The car drives out very good! We, family and I, have taken it to 3 cruise nights so far and had a good response from all. Bought it like it sits. Basically traded a 2005 Colorado regular cab 4 cyl. 5 speed for it. Anyway any ideas, tricks, definitions on some of the abbreviations used here, what you would do, etc...I would appreciate. | |

| Love them wheels. There's a member on here who's been teasing us with a set he bought, but hasn't put on his ride yet. They look great. | |

| Replace your window rollers on the one that is not working. This is a very common problem on this body. | |

| Regarding abbreviations, when you see the abbreviation: 'RMW', it means 'ugly piece of junk'. HTH (<=== means 'hope this helps') | |

| traded up from the Colorado in my opinion Grey interiors are not that common and sought after (mostly by people want to do an Impala SS clone). so don't go spraying over it with anything other than gray! should be a window roller thread on here of the ISSF forum. In case you didn't realize, from the B-pillar forward all parts are the same with a sedan. 91-93 the tbi years 94-96 the LT1 years alot of parts are interchangeable on all years, with the big difference is interior colors vary between the two groupings. shades are a little off, but gray may be exempt from that, not sure. Good luck and welcome. | |

| Guys thank you for the welcome. I did a post in introductions, but had some questions that I have answered here! Thank you for hte positive remarks. And jimbeau isn't a RMW a road master wagon???.. I have searched for info on engine swaps etc...but only so much time at work..lol Saw the car for sale in Panama City Beach last November at Emerald Coast car show, then in March ran across it on craig's list in Anniston AL, about 30 miles from where I live!!!Had just sold my Colorado so...called told him I was on my way. PO owns a body shop so paint is good, he also has 15 other street-hot rods including 3 or 4 other wagons. I feel like it is a solid car. Thanks again guys | |
