| FYI for junkyarders that certain used parts from non B-body models are interchangeable:
1. '91-94 Buick Radios are swappable from Buick Park Avenues and LeSabres. Possibly Centuries. Useful if you find a CD player in one of these in junkyards. 2. '95-96 Chevy and Buick radios are also found in '95-96 Chevies (Camaro, S10, Blazers, othersr?) and Buick LeSabres, Park Avenues, Regals, Centuries. 3. Airshock compressor is also found in Buick Park Avenues. I don't know if it's identical though. 4. The Roadmaster Sedan radio antenna I've heard is identical to the Caprice and Roadmaster wagon except for one screw-on bracket. 5. Cruise control / Turn signal stalk is used on multiple '91-98 GM models.

Units labeled "Monsoon" will still work as normal in the B-bodys. - sherlock9c1 wrote:

Choose one out of a higher end Pontiac - the handles are larger and have a better feel. Some more: Buick airbags (and wheels for that matter) were common across several car lines, so they can be used in the Roadmasters. Some models (Skyhawk) offered colors (black) not available in ther B cars. The steering wheel mounted radio control switches and harness can be used with the B car bags and column. Do get them off a model that had radio controls on both the left and right sides though, some (Rivieras) had heater controls on the left. Blazer/Jimmys with factory sunroofs had a specific short overhead console that would enable them to be installed in a RMW. Here's one that has limited applications for the wagons, but a Ford Motorsport M-2450-A plug can be used to perform the brake bolt mod for rear discs. - J

| As for radios in the yards....
I have come across quite a few including CD players, but what about the theft lock crap? If it was enabled doesn't that make it useless?

| I've never heard of it being activated. In any case, get the VIN and you may be able to get it unlocked at a GM dealership. | |
