I've been wanting to experiment with LED bulbs for the interior lighting on my Cruiser. So flush with money from the sale of a few parts, I ordered six 194 LED bulbs from AutoLuminiation http://www.autolumination.com

I ordered four white 5 LED SMT tower 194 equivalents for the rear passenger and cargo area. I also ordered two blue 9 LED SMT Tower II 194 equivalents for the front footwells.

I'm not sure the pictures came out too well but here are a couple for comparison.

OEM light:
LED Lighting Cargolight

LED bulb:
LED Lighting Cargoled

The LEDS are much whiter and do give off more light. The blue in the footwells just looks cool, goes well with the blue interior. I'll try to get a picture tomorrow evening.

I tried the blue bulbs in the cargo lights just to see if the longer 9 LED bulbs would fit and they do. So for the next wagon, I'll put that size in there and just use the 5 LED bulbs for the rear seat lights.

Mike, I thought there were "reliability issues" with the LED's?

I had LED bulbs in the Fleetwood with no problems. Those were in the tail lights. I've put those bulbs in the roadmonster. No problems so far. I'll let you know if that changes. Wink
