| Tonight I went to the the tower shopS in Davie, FL and met impalassdude, eagleCO, and a few SOFASST peeps. 5 bodies with 2 wagons, not a bad night for middle of summer. About 130-150 cars total. Got a couple cell pics I'll upload later. Tomorrow.....work

| Worked M-Sa, tomorrow off. Then working again Monday thru at least Wed. Going to try and get some car stuff done tomorrow if the weather holds. Plugs in my brothers '93 and an oil change on the wagon. Also borrowed a DA sander and a die grinder. I'm going to attempt to fill and level the trim studs so I can have a naked wagon. Oh, also helping my father fix a basket case of a 262 powered Searay that probably has a cracked block after yesterdays discovery.
WF FL or bust! | |

| Washed OCC, hooked up baby seat for the first time, took out of town family for a ride along Oregon coast scenic highway, walked on the beach, went to Newport Bayfront and ate fish tacos. Drove back home without talking, hoping 2 year old would fall asleep in car seat. He finally did right before our house. His mom and dad are taking a nap and he is too. He is still in the Olds in the driveway however.
I enjoyed the Watkins Glen track photos. Dick

| Fixed the AC in my brother's mini van. It was as close as I could get to a longroof since my beloved RMW is in the tranny shop getting a complete rebuild | |

| I had a nail removed from the OCC left rear tire and rebuilt the back brakes on my Cutlass after a wheel cylinder puked in the garage and the rancid fluid ate the garage floor coating. | |

| On Friday I finished my training for my new part time J-O-B and on Saturday I did a complete exterior/interior detail on a Tacoma and Highlander. Saturday was a LONG day!
Today is reserved to playing catch-up in school. Tomorrow it's back to the grind stone as I have 2 bumpers to do........ I thought I was supposed to be retired.......

| Instead of being at WF 2012, where I wanted to be, I was making a return trip from Colorado and arrived late Friday night, early Saturday morning, depends on how you choose to view it. So Saturday was a rest day for me.
For the month of July I accumulated nearly 5,000 miles on my ride and on Thursday and Friday this coming week I will be on the road again, accumulating another 500 miles or so.

I want that too!!! Does anyone have a pair for my OCC they would sell? Are the second set (passenger) different tone (hamonizing) than the stock ones on the drivers side? Dick

| Well I was enjoying a strenous 17 mile hike in red river gorge with my son's boy scout troop over the weekend. First time for me sleeping in a hammock i gotta say I haven't slept that good on a campout in 20 years. course the mileage could account for that too. boy was I wore out after the first five miles. On a sadder note I was up in buffalo NY the previous weekend of 7/20-7/22. I had to drive the van and haul a trailer to pick up some furniture from my grandpa's estate for my mom and aunts. So wish we could have gone up this weekend and I could have used Ms. Roadie for the trip. But then I would have had to find me one of those notoriously evasive class III hitches. I've got realitives up there in NY, though I'm not a fan of the state, I did enjoy visiting my family. I guess I should say I'm not a fan of the gun laws of NY state. | |

When you can eat off them they sell pretty easy...especially with all the records from new and a seller willing to pull out a floor jack to show you the underside of the car.. I really should have asked for more.....

Is it me or does this pic look like model cars and not real ones? I had to look at it a few times to make sure they are real. |

| I spent the weekend wishing I was at WF12 but I was also enjoying my new B-body. A 84 2-door Caprice Classic badged as a Impala SS. 305 700R4 2.73 posi 84,000 miles Caddy pearl white with ghost flames and cowl induction hood. I would have been in the running for best sedan again!!! I also install a set Bilstiens and new rear brakes and replaced teh oil cooler lines on the Fleetwood. p?i=7&u=17699253] [/url] |

Its still a source of amazement to me that you are able to accomplish all that wrenching while sitting in a chair . Kudos are given. As usual, your creations are one of a kind. Good work on the Chevy. Bill

| I just thought of something, since all b-bodies are welcome at WF, I think I just might get my 78 caprice done for next year. Wife can drive the wagon and I drive my caprice. Great ideal. | |
