yeah mark, mike was helping me with this one...i let him drill since i am a "measure once..cut a hole too big" kinda guy. i actually was the one to cut the hole in the floor with a dremmel. and for once in my life the hole was the perfect size!!! (ummm...i didnt mean it that way) it took...with mike swearing and throwing tools and him working on jess's 95 while i did stuff to mine. ...it took us 8 hours about 4 of which was actually working diligently on the car. if you know what you are doing or have someone who knows what they are doing there...i could see this being a LOT faster. - Sprocket wrote:

umm no. i was really trying to build up the nerve to cut the floorpan and worring about how i was gonna screw it up. i just got the pic of the after. and the floorpan with the carpet pulled back.

| I saw it in person yesterday, and I can tell you it looks great! It also feels good too from behind the wheel. If you did not know wagons, you would really think that it was a stock set up. I happened to run into Ian and Mike at a huge Pittsburgh car show, and met them both for the first time. Great guys, and they did an excellent job on Ian's car. New part time job, guys? | |

| Looks good Ian, couldn't have done better myself. So does it feel faster now? Haha. Did you modify your drivers seat, or is it a passenger seat that you used? I still love my floor shifter. Mike | |

Did you modify your drivers seat, or is it a passenger seat that you used? yeah...it really does make the car feel different...not faster but definitely more "sporty" i used a passenger seat that you gave me 2 years ago. (it had been sitting in my shed) but after having bonnies in ...my 92/marks 92 that i just sold i want bonnies...but i want leather.

| I assume he left the factory linkages operational and his lights work like normal.
Good job on the install, these consoles fit very well in the Buick and look factory.

| I used a new impala SS shifter cable and transmission mount bracket and here I welded the new impala ss shifter cable linkage to the roadmaster's linkage so the reverse light and neutral switch would still work | |

| Will you please put together some power rear vent window kits?? I'm telling you I'd buy one from you! Chrysler has had power pop-out rear windows for years in the minivans, and my brother-in-law's Expedition has them.
Our cars are nicer than both those vehicles!

I've been looking for a set of front '94-'96 cloth seats for a while. The incorrect '93- older tan has gotten on my OCD nerves

in this last picture you can see the switches I use for the power rear vent windows
rear vent windows...those must be the small ones in the very rear of the car? has power rear vent windows been original option? Sometimes I have been thinking that having them electric would be very handy, and been wondering how to do that. If it's been original option, it should be possible to change them if I could get original parts somewhere. Does it fit caprice wagon?

They were going to be original on the cars as there is a pic in the '93 owners manual of the vent window switch but, for whatever reason, they were never put into production. The ones above were custom built using the power vent motors from a Malibu, 80's style.
